Raleigh, NC (July 16, 2021) – At 8:23 p.m. on the evening of Friday, July 16, a car crash with injuries occurred in Raleigh.
According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Old Milburnie Road and Candlehurst Lane. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hurt and taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
