Raleigh, NC (May 23, 2021) – At 6:19 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, May 23, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Poole Road and Norwood Street. Two or more vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
