Raleigh, NC (December 21, 2021) – At 10:54 p.m. on the night of Tuesday, December 21, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Rock Quarry Road and South New Hope Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
