Raleigh, NC (June 27, 2021) – At 3:38 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, June 27, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of South New Hope Road and Eva Mae Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused them to forcefully collide, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
