Raleigh, NC (May 28, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, May 28, a car crash took place at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Springmoor Drive and Sawmill Road. Two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
