Raleigh, NC (August 14, 2021) – At 1:57 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, August 14, a car crash with injuries occurred in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of West Peace Street and Glenwood Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. This caused them to forcefully collide with one another, leading to extensive damages. The involved vehicles had to be removed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time until police were able to clear the scene.
