Raleigh, NC (August 9, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, August 9, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Yates Mill Pond Road and Charles G. Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
