Raleigh, NC (November 29, 2021) – At 10:14 a.m. on the morning of Monday, November 29, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Durant Road and Rio Wild Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
