Raleigh, NC (October 4, 2021) – At 5:25 p.m. on the evening of Monday, October 4, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police officials, the accident happened at the intersection of East Six Forks Road and Atlantic Avenue. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
