Raleigh, NC – Car Crash with Injuries at Lead Mine Rd & Shadyside Dr

Raleigh, NC (October 8, 2021) – At 12:20 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, October 8, a car crash with injuries occurred at a Raleigh intersection.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Lead Mine Road and Shadyside Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
