Raleigh, NC (September 28, 2021) – At 1:26 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 28, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of North New Hope Road and Eva Mae Drive around the area of Poole Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
