Raleigh, NC (November 24, 2021) – At 12:19 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 24, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Western Boulevard and Ashe Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more vehicles lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
