Raleigh, NC (December 28, 2021) – At 8:04 p.m. on the night of Tuesday, December 28, an injury accident occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Fayetteville Road and Oak Ridge Court. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
