Raleigh, NC (November 18, 2021) – At 3:34 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, November 18, an injury accident occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Tryon Road and Hammond Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The intersection was blocked for an extended period of time as police quickly worked to clear the scene.
