Raleigh, NC (April 19, 2021) – Around 2:15 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, April 18, a motorcycle accident led to injuries in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the crash happened on US-1 just after the I-540 area. Police confirmed that a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided in the area due to reasons that are not fully known.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in several lanes. This led to delays for some time.
