Raleigh, NC (September 13, 2021) – At 6:44 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, September 12, a motorcycle crash occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Knightdale Boulevard and Morning Flyer Way. A motorcycle was traveling in the area when the rider entered the intersection. The motorcycle was struck by a passenger vehicle that was traveling in the area. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was seriously injured in the accident. The injured victim was rushed to the hospital but their condition is not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
