Raleigh, NC – Multi-Vehicle Collision in EB Lanes of I-40

Raleigh, NC (March 25, 2021) – At 4:15 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, March 25, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a highway in Raleigh.

According to police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-40 around the area of mile marker 300. Multiple vehicles collided with each other in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
