Raleigh, NC (October 23, 2021) – At 11:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, October 23, a construction site accident occurred in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the North Hills Shopping Center. An unidentified man was working at a construction site in the area when a trench suddenly collapsed in the middle of the job.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the area off of Saint Albans Drive. The injured victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment. His current condition is not yet known.
The construction site is under investigation to determine what led to the collapse.
