Raleigh, NC (January 28, 2021) – Around noon on Thursday, January 28, a house fire took place at a home in Raleigh.
The incident, according to police, took place at a home at 3212 Flowery Branch Road. When fire crews arrived at the scene, they found that the fire broke out in the garage and spread into the home. By the time they had the fire under control, the house was already badly damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the fire. A homeowner suffered from a serious hand injury. Another person was trapped inside the home initially but was able to get out without injury.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the fire.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
