Raleigh, NC (March 5, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on Thursday evening, March 4, a pedestrian accident took place at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Falls of Neuse Road and Springfield Commons. It is believed that a pedestrian was crossing the roadway at the intersection when they were struck by a passenger vehicle traveling in the area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian was the only person injured in the accident. They were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
The intersection was blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
