Raleigh, NC – Pedestrian Accident at Spring Forest Rd & Fox Rd

Raleigh, NC (September 4, 2021) – At 11:13 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, September 4, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred in Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Spring Forest Road and Fox Road. A pedestrian was walking in the area when they started to cross the intersection. The pedestrian was struck by a passenger vehicle that was traveling in the area. The driver allegedly remained at the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Their condition is not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
