Raleigh, NC (August 10, 2021) – At 9:30 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, August 10, a pedestrian accident occurred in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened on New Bern Avenue around the area of I-440. A pedestrian was walking in the area when an eastbound vehicle struck them due to unknown reasons. It is believed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was the only person injured in the accident. They were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
