Raleigh, NC (March 1, 2021) – Around 9:24 a.m. on Monday morning, March 1, a rear-end truck accident occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of NC-50 and Creedmoor Road just south of Old Weaver Trail. Four vehicles collided in the rear-end accident involving a dump truck. Several vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt and transported to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
