Raleigh, NC (September 26, 2021) – At 7:36 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, September 25, a rollover accident occurred in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of St. George Road and Poole Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused them to forcefully collide with each other, with one of the vehicles rolling over. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims in the rolled vehicle were injured in the accident. The injured victims were rushed to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
