Raleigh, NC (December 16, 2021) – At 8:14 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, December 15, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Raleigh Capital Boulevard and Wade Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. One of the vehicles overturned as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
