Raleigh, NC (March 9, 2021) – At 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 9, a serious car crash took place at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Hammond Road and Rush Street. Two or more vehicles collided with each other after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One victim was pinned inside their vehicle and had to be extricated. Multiple people were injured and hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
