Raleigh, NC (October 20, 2021) – Around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, October 19, a teen was injured in a pedestrian accident in Raleigh.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Blue Ridge Road and Trinity Road. A teen girl was walking right outside the North Carolina State Fair when she was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. The vehicle was left with extensive damages, including a shattered windshield.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The teen was rushed to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. She is expected to recover from her injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
