Raleigh, NC (July 26, 2021) – On Sunday afternoon, July 25, a serious house fire happened in Raleigh that injured two firefighters.
According to Raleigh officials, the fire broke out in a home on Cadmore Court. The two-story home quickly became engulfed in flames and heavy smoke was seen pouring out of the home when crews arrived. Approximately 75% of the home was damaged as a result of the fire.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. Though nobody inside the home was injured, two of the firefighters were injured as they fought the fire. Their conditions are not yet known.
The area was blocked for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
