Raleigh, NC (January 3, 2021) – Around 5:25 p.m. on Sunday evening, January 3, a two-vehicle accident occurred in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened on Wake Forest Road around the area of Six Forks Road when two vehicles collided with each other in front of a shopping center. Police have not yet confirmed the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but said that the vehicles involved received severe damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash. One person was transported to the hospital with injuries, but their condition is not yet known.
Lanes were blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
