Roseboro, NC (November 25, 2021) – Around 11 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, November 25, a house fire on Thanksgiving led to injuries in Roseboro.
According to Sampson County officials, the incident took place in a home in Roseboro in an unidentified area. When fire crews arrived at the home, they found flames and smoke coming out of the home. Fire crews started to put out the fire and had it under control within the hour, though the damages are not yet known.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Two people sustained injuries as a result of the fire. One person was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of burn injuries but the other was not hospitalized. Police confirmed that the injured victims both lived inside the home.
Due to the severity of the fire, the area was blocked off for an extended period of time.
