Wake Forest, NC – Car Crash at Oak Grove Church Rd & Grove Crossing Way

Wake Forest, NC (December 31, 2021) – Raleigh officials were called to the scene of a car crash at an intersection in Wake Forest on Friday, December 31.

Police confirmed that the accident, which happened at 5:53 p.m. in the evening, happened at the intersection of Oak Grove Church Road and Grove Crossing Way. Wake County Sheriff’s Office deputies confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.

Paramedics and several other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
