Wake Forest, NC (August 23, 2021) – At 9:39 a.m. on the morning of Monday, August 23, a rollover accident occurred at an intersection in Wake Forest.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Dr. Calvin Jones Highway and South Main Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another, causing one of the vehicles to overturn. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
