Wake Forest, NC (May 3, 2021) – On Monday, May 3, a USPS truck crash took place on a roadway in Wake Forest that injured several victims.
According to officials, the accident happened on South Main Street around the area of Ligon Mill Road. Three vehicles, including a USPS truck, collided in the area due to unknown reasons. The USPS truck and another vehicle had extensive front-end damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
