Wilkesboro, NC (February 14, 2021) – On Friday morning, February 12th, a woman was killed following a fatal crash that took place in Wilkesboro.
Officers with the Wilkesboro Police Department say that the woman died as a result of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Stokes Street and N.C. 268 westbound. The woman, who was operating a 2009 Ford Focus, died at the scene. Capt. Jason Delbert of the Wilkesboro Police Department said that a pickup truck collided with the Ford Focus. Two other people sustained injuries and were transported to an area medical center. Their current conditions are unknown.
The investigation is continuing, Delbert added, and no further details have been released.
