Wilmington, NC (December 9, 2021) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Wilmington area claimed one man’s life on Sunday, according to reports. On December 5, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Military Cutoff Road.
Reports from local news sources show that 34-year-old William Lloyd Fabre was walking in the area of Military Cuttoff Road and Drysdale Drive. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a passing vehicle.
Authorities arrived at the scene to find Fabre suffering from severe injuries. Despite emergency crews attempting to render aid to the victim, he passed away from his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
