Zebulon, NC (August 17, 2021) – At 3:18 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 17, a pedestrian accident occurred on a roadway in Zebulon.
According to Zebulon Police, the accident happened at 1002 Dogwood Drive. A pedestrian was walking in the area when they were struck by a passenger vehicle traveling in the area. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the police.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been formally identified, was injured in the accident. Their condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
