Raleigh, NC (February 3, 2022) – On Thursday morning, February 3, a car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Raleigh.
Raleigh Police confirmed that the collision happened around 5:50 a.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Poole Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided after entering the intersection. One or more vehicles went off the road and took down power poles in the area. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene for assistance. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police urged those traveling in the area to avoid the intersection and find alternate routes.
