Raleigh, NC – Car Crash with Injuries at Bedford Ave & Oberlin Rd

Raleigh, NC (January 17, 2022) – Raleigh Police responded to a car crash with injuries that took place at an intersection in Raleigh on Monday, January 17.

According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened around 10:43 p.m. at the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Oberlin Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
