Raleigh, NC (January 4, 2022) – On Tuesday, January 4, an injury accident happened at night at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at 10:28 p.m. at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Mayflower Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other Raleigh responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
