Raleigh, NC (February 2, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Raleigh on Wednesday afternoon, February 2.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at 1:23 p.m. at the intersection of Durant Road and Cub Trail. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several individuals were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
