From Military Service to Legal Advocacy
Before becoming an attorney, Avi served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant in the 10th Mountain Division and completed two combat tours in Iraq. He continued serving in the California Army National Guard while pursuing his undergraduate education.
He later earned his law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he participated in moot court and trial advocacy programs.
Courtroom Experience as a Former Prosecutor
Avi previously worked as a Deputy District Attorney in California. His experience included conducting 18 jury trials and more than 100 evidentiary hearings.
After moving to North Carolina, he joined Ricci Law Firm, where he represents people who have been injured. He was admitted to practice in California in 2018 and North Carolina in 2023.
